It might be half a year away, but we no longer care: YALC rumours are already beginning. Safe to say, our cool has been lost and we don’t know the meaning of the word chill. IS IT JULY YET?
Obviously, the organisers have tried to be super sneaky about their author list, but we get twitchy at the mere mention of it:
Lots of you asking questions about our #YALC 2016 line-up! We can't reveal anything just yet… but it's going to be great *enigmatic smile*

But a few authors have dropped a few hints of their own. For example, the King of Creepy himself, Darren Shan, has ever so coyly suggested he may be making an appearance:
@Tyler_LeeJ I might be at @yalc_uk again in the summer. Stay tuned for updates…

And Keris Stainton, known not only for her fab books, such as ‘Counting Stars’, but her prolific use of Harry Styles gifs, is 100% in:

Derek Landy, author of bestselling ‘Skulduggery Pleasant’ and now ‘Demon Road’, is planning on turning up, too. Well, “probably” and at this point, that’s good enough for us. See you there, Derek!
Also: will probably be doing YALC this year.
