Book Lust: check out our top 7 Instas of Eric Lindstrom’s ‘Not If I See You First’

‘Not If I See You First’ is bright, beautiful, and, if you look closely, you’ll find the title written in brail. In honour of how utterly lovely this book looks on our book shelf, we thought we’d have an indulgent scroll through Instagram. Check out some of our favourite snaps of this fantastic read:

While I was on my “bookstagram hiatus”, I read and finished an ARC of Eric Lindstrom’s Not If I See You First. It’s a really cute YA debut about a blind girl – Parker Grant – and how she copes after the sudden loss of her dad. I’ll post a synopsis in the comments for anyone interested! What I liked most about this book was Parker. She was sassy & sarcastic, almost to the point of being selfish, but as the book progressed she really developed as a character. I’ve never read a book featuring a blind protagonist before, and it was so inspiring to see her tackle teenage life in a positive manner (without dwelling on or making a fuss about being visually impaired). I will admit that I got about 200+ pages into the book before realising that I was enjoying it 😂 I was on the fence about it for a long time; I am so glad I stuck with it though as it gave me those ‘warm vibes’ at the end. Overall, I’d give it 4/5??.
