Today is the day all Camilizers have been waiting for!
Not only did Camila grace us with her first red carpet appearance last night at The Grammys 2017, but itās also been announced that she has given her first interview since leaving Fifth Harmony in December.
Camila will be appearing on the cover ofĀ SeventeenāsĀ March/April issue to speakĀ about life post-5H. It seems like sheās making these interviews with Seventeen a yearly thing now.Ā We aināt complaininā
Despite the wild success ofĀ āBad Thingsā,Ā it looks like we havenāt even seen a billionth of her potential yet:
āFifth Harmony wasnāt the maximum expression of me individually. My fans are really going to know me from the music Iām writing. My goal is to be brave and open up my soul.ā
That sounds all kinds of promising. But what really warmed our hearts is her confirmation that she still has all the love and respect for her Fifth Harmony girls.
āIāll continue to wish them all the best, and Iām happy they are continuing their journey as Fifth Harmony. Iām also looking forward to hearing new music from the group and their solo endeavors.ā
Youāre telling us, Mila. We literally are chomping at the bit to hear their new stuff and our spidey sense is totally tingling so we suspect it will be any day now.
But itās not all good news unfortunately. Apparently MilaĀ has been avoiding social media, which is breaking out hearts. Does this mean sheāll never see our loving posts about how fantabulous she is?
āIāve been trying to stay away from social media for almost two years now. There has always been negative stuff on there. Even if you read 100 messages of love, the hurtful one is what you remember. But I did see a lot of love and support from my fans. Honestly, I didnāt expect it. I was so emotional at that point, that when I saw some really encouraging things people were saying, I burst into an ugly cry.ā

Camila also revealed that the artist she would most love to collaborate with is none other than Ed Sheeran.
āHeās incredible at putting love, emotion, and feeling into words. I would love to see him go into a room and watch how he makes his magic. He always talks about how he loves making songs from the heart, and thatās something that Iāve pushed myself to do in my songwriting process, too.ā
And thatās not all, Camila has done a photoshoot for Seventeen magazineās front cover and she looks INCREDIBLE! Damn this is big news for Camilizers. A big front cover like this isĀ sure to getĀ her solo career off to a bang.
