Somalia is in the middle of a serious crisis which very few people had even heard about.
East Africa is suffering and the media are literally ignoring it which makes us FURIOUS. These people have no water, no food, no crops and no livestock – they’re starving to death and the crisis has barely made the news.
Do you know about the food and water crisis in Somalia?

As ever, YouTubers are stepping up to the plate and campaigning for people less fortunate than them. French Viner Jérôme Jarre has stepped up to the plate and launched a campaign to raise awareness today.
What’s shocking is that nothing about the crisis seems to have made it over to the UK yet – European vloggers are leading the pack.
🚨MAINSTREAM MEDIA WON’T TALK ABOUT IT !!!

Just in case you’re not fluent in Spanish, here’s what Juanpa said about the crisis:
“We need your help. Let us make a revolution together. Let’s make noise and that everyone knows.”
And now others are starting to get behind the cause, but we need more.

We need everybody to come forward and do their bit to make the effects of this crisis known. It is the job of everyone to raise awareness about this global issue. It’s in our hands and we can make a difference.
We need to start raising funds and finding solutions, but, first of all, we need to get woke stars to share this news on their platforms then we can guarantee this news will reach more people. If we stand as one we will be stronger.
We need all the YouTubers to vlog about this, like Zoella, Lilly Singh, Caspar Lee. EVERYONE!
We need pop stars like Lauren Jauregui and Selena Gomez to tweet about it.
We need movie stars like Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Watson to comment on it!
We, as readers, can be activists too. Our role is to communicate with these stars via any platform we can to make them aware and share.
Harmonizers stand up!
Directioners stand up!
Mixers stand up!
Let’s make a difference. And don’t forget to share with your friends and family as well. The more people this news reaches the better.
