Taylor Swift makes history at the Grammys. Are we at all surprised?

Just because ‘Record Smasher’ are her middle names, Taylor Swift not only picked up three gongs at last night’s Grammy Awards, she also made history.

After picking up Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for ‘1989’, Taylor has become the first artist in history to win both Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Country Album, winning it in 2010 for ‘Fearless’.

Taylor also won Best Music Video for ‘Bad Blood‘ at last night’s awards ceremony.

Swifty has also become the first woman to win Album of the Year twice, also winning for ‘Fearless’ in 2010.

Congrats Tay! What do you make of these achievements? Let us know on Twitter at @maximumpop.
