Six questions we ask everybody with… Kelly Pepper + an MP! Exclusive

As you may be aware, we’ve been asking our new favourite popstars to answer the same six questions.  And today we’ve had a natter with  brand new pop goddess Kelly Pepper.

1. Tell us why we should listen to you in 140 characters or less…

My music is the result of a lot of hard grafting over a few years and is a sound that is totally and utterly me, it’s got so many influences to it so hopefully there’s something for most people to enjoy, with DnB vibes, a little bit of trance, a pop edge and big hooks and vocals.

2. If you had to compare the sound of your music to a crisp flavour, which would you pick and how do they relate?

Something full of flavour like Chilli wave Doritos, where you bite in to them and think they’re ok then bam they hit you and take your breath away!

3. What was the first single you ever bought and has it inspired the music you release today?

The first CD I bought was actually a compilation album not a single and it was Cream Trance Anthems in 2003. As I young girl I was obsessed with the song The Theme by Jurgen Vries and grew a love of trance that later developed into a joint love of DnB from that album.

4. Picture the scene… You have found a time machine and been sent back to the year 1996. You have been selected to become the sixth member of a band known as the Spice Girls. What would your nickname be?

My spice girl name would have to be underground spice in line with my music style.. Girl power!

5. If you were given a pet cat and told you had to name it after an existing popstar, what would you name it?

I don’t really like cats, I’m more of a dog person but if I had to name one it’d be Beyoncé, I think it would be hilarious to be calling out to your cat in the street ‘Come here Beyoncé!’ Haha!

6. Can you tell us that you love us?

Kelly pepper
