Here’s how to make your own Beauty and the Beast face serum and become an ACTUAL Princess

Well, a sort of Princess…if you’re not about those official titles

There’s still a couple of weeks to go ’till the live action remake of Beauty and the Beast is (finally) released* in UK cinemas, and we couldn’t be more excited about the countdown. That soundtrack…OMFG. Just hurry up, life. HURRY UP.

*Mark 17th March off in your calendars, guys.

In fact, we’re SO excited about the upcoming film (as in, we’re even more buzzing than Little Mix were when they won the X Factor), we’ve pretty much been dedicating our whole lives lately to finding anything even moderately linked to BATB.

This month, Amazon have already unveiled makeup that was inspired by our fave Disney Princess, Belle. And as if that wasnt epic enough, now Skin Inc. have jumped on board with their brand new ‘Beauty and the Beast Get Glowin’ Serum’ – sounds pretty darn fancy, right?

The brand announced the news on Instagram by posting a photo of the gorgeous bottle (tbf, how else would you announce a product launch in 2017), and seriously, it’s stunning. In fact, it’s so stunning it would look incredible sat on top of a dresser…a windowsill…your cat’s head…your ex’s face. Anywhere, really.

Oh, and the ingredients used to make it also sound pretty appealing. Hyaluronic acid? Brightening chlorella? Vitamin A? We’re no scientists, but…er….NEED!

The serum is currently priced at $90 and is due to launch on 15th March via

But, if you’re killer impatient (and without a spare $90 to spend) like us, we’ve got a DIY Beauty and the Beast-themed skincare product that you can whip up in the meantime.

It can be used on it’s own or alongside Skin Inc’s serum, and will give you princess pores in no time.

You totally missed the Harry Potter reference in the new ‘Beauty and the Beast’ trailer

Beauty and the Beast makeup has FINALLY arrived and it’s far from beastly

QUIZ: Which character from ‘Beauty and the Beast’ are you?

What you’ll need:

    • Coconut Oil
    • Honey
    • Small Tub
    • Beauty and the Beast printable
    • Any extra decorations

First, we scooped some coconut oil into a mixing bowl.

Then we then squeezed in some runny honey. The sticky stuff is great at moisturising skin and is often used for acne-prone or dry skin as it has anti-inflammatory properties. Who knew?!

Next we popped the bowl in a microwaved and zapped it for one minute. This helped soften the mixture and make it easier to stir.

Once we got rid of any lumps and bumps, we then poured it into our container.

To decorate the container, we simply googled Beauty and the Beast themed illustrations and printables. There are heaps online, you’re honestly spoilt for choice.

After we printed it off and stuck it onto the container, we then added a few extra details. We got these paper roses from a craft shop.

They’re super pretty and almost put Belle’s rose to shame. Soz, Beast.

And that’s it done!

To use it simply rub a small amount of the mask in circular motions across your face. Then leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes before washing it off with warm water.

Would you make this Beauty and the Beast themed face mask? Let us know in the comments below.
