‘Faceless’ by Alyssa Sheinmel is the story of Maisie, whose face is tragically destroyed in a terrible accident. It’s a story of identity, of self love and beauty – and it’s one of our personal favourites. We picked a few MP!ers to take part in our YouReview, and here’s what they thought:
#FacelessMP If you have read Wonder by R.J Palacio you would enjoy Faceless. Makes you think about your attitude towards disability. 10/10

#FacelessMP I found the story gripping-I really cared what happened to Maisie and how the story would unfold. Found Chirag rather annoying.

Absolutely loved Faceless by Alyssa Sheinmel. Will definitely have to find some of her back catalogue! #facelessMP

Especially loved the twin scenes at the end with each of Maisie's parents – really showed how she grew through her experience. #facelessmp
