After this girl got dress coded, her sister clapped back to her school in the most EPIC way possibe

Ah, sexism, you strike again.

Thirteen-year-old Grace was really excited to wear a pink, off-the-shoulder top she bought with her own money to school – who’d blame her? It’s a super cute shirt.

While at school she realised she was going to get ‘dress-coded’ after getting funny looks and comments from her teachers about exposing her chest and shoulders. She ended up changing her clothes.

For a glimpse of a shoulder. SCANDALOUS.

Her older sister Isabella was having none of it. She made a t-shirt for her sister to keep in her locker and change in to if she’s ever forced to change again. On it she wrote:

“Dress Code:

– promotes the objectification and sexualization of young bodies

– blames the wearer for the onlooker’s perceptions/actions

– perpetuates rape culture

– is B.S.

Isabella is a total legend – she’s even going to be printing t-shirts for people to buy.

We salute you, Isabella.

Have you ever been ‘dress-coded’?
