5 Things that happened at Jake Sims’ ‘Long Time Coming’ EP launch

Last night we popped our cutie booties down to former Stereo Kicks member Jake Sims‘ ‘Long Time Coming’ EP launch gig and, to save you from a long and boring review, we’ve taken out the waffle and compressed our five favourite bits that you just need to know about.

1Jake’s set opened with upbeat rap song ‘Long Time Coming’, which is also the title of the forthcoming EP.

2 A cover of Gym Class Heroes’ ‘Cupid’s Chokehold’ was performed, which is a cover that Jake used to cover when he busked. Fetus feels.

3The gig was slowed down with another original song named ‘All For Me’, and a cover of One Direction‘s album track ‘If I Could Fly’, bringing his friend Brian on stage to play the guitar. Actual heart eyes emoji.

Number 4MASHUP KLAXON! It was only Ed Sheeran’s ‘Don’t’ with Blackstreet’s ‘No Diggity’ wasn’t it? Bloomin ‘eck Sims.

5The set closes with another original track ‘Take It All’, which is a heavy rap track.
