Unless you have been hiding under a rock or stuck in some place with no wifi (you poor thing) then you clearly already know about the charity drives that have and still are being held for the members of One Direction’s birthday. If you want to help out a good cause in honour of your favourite boy band then drop everything and keep reading.
1D Fans Give are looking for fans to help. There are a number of ways you can do this. From artistic fans to generous Directioners, the team need you. So what can you do?
Creative fans can help out by submitting some art for the 1D portfolio book which will be going on sale.
“Since its One Direction’s 5th anniversary this year, we are looking to create a one of a kind art portfolio to celebrate the artists in this fandom! Because we want these charity drives to be a fandom effort, we are looking for your input (both artists and non!). In short, this art portfolio will be made up of unique pieces from 1D artists in celebration of 1D, and proceeds will go to all 6 charity drives under 1dfansgive.”
Don’t worry if you’re not artistic, your opinion is very much needed in this questionnaire which helps with the process of the 1D art portfolio.
Creative and artistic people can also help with raising money by donating raffle prizes with their designs on or making something to sell. For full information, click here.
Don’t worry if you’re not creative as there’s another way you can help out. There is a scheme called “Loose Change” where several donors have agreed to match donations to each of the boys charities that are marked “loose change” up to $100, meaning there could be up to $500 per month per donor. That’s a LOT. This will be starting very soon and will take place every month. So if you have some loose change around the house or in your pockets, click here to see how you can put it to good use.
