You all tuned into the Supernatural 11B premiere, right? Did you expect that plot twist at all? We sure didn’t. After ten and a half seasons, this show still knows how to leave you jaw-dropped. So done. Send help.
Since you’re still reeling from that episode, we’ve compiled a list of 10 signs you’re addicted to Supernatural. Prepare to say ‘yes’ to all of these (but please not to Lucifer, he’s nothing but trouble).
1. YOU KEEP SALT WITH YOU
If the last ten years taught you anything, it’s to always keep some salt with you for demonic emergencies. Lights flickering? Get the salt out. Trust us.
2. HORROR MOVIES AREN’T THE SAME
Let’s be honest, whenever you watch a horror flick the following things come to mind:
– “Sam and Dean could solve this in forty minutes”
– “Where’s the salt?”
– “Seriously? Call Sam and Dean.”
Throw the Winchester boys into any horror movie and it’d be so much more entertaining.
3. YOU SAY “IDJITS” A LOT
Bobby Singer. Our second father. He’s taught us how to deal with the Winchester’s crap over the years. But most importantly, he taught us “idjits”. If that isn’t your vocabulary and you not say it on a daily basis, you are lying.
4. YOU LOVE LUCIFER
Normally when you say “I love Lucifer”, people look at you weird because they think you’re part of some satanic cult. However, this isn’t the case when you’re a Supernatural fan. You find yourself praising the powers that be when Lucifer graces your screens with his devilish charm.
5. YOU NEED PIE
Every time you walk into a cafe and you see pie, you automatically think of Dean and his love for pie. Same. We are all Castiel.
6. YOU GET EMOTIONAL WHEN YOU SEE THIS
The moment this and Carry On My Wayward Son starts to play at the start of a season finale, you tear up and begin to rethink your entire journey with these boys. Our hearts!
7. YOU WANT THE TATTOO
Don’t lie. You either have this tattoo or you are thinking about getting it. There is no denying you love for it. Plus, the boys pull it off so well, *dies*.
8. YOU QUOTE THE ONE-LINERS
The show is so quotable, especially the meta-episodes. Sometimes we wonder if this show is even real? But that’s why we love Supernatural.
9. YOU CAN RELATE TO CASTIEL
Our favourite angel is so relatable. Whether he’s binge-watching Game of Thrones on Netflix, his love for Dean or interrogating a cat, he is us. We are him. We love Castiel.
10. YOUR PET IS NAMED AFTER A CHARACTER ON THE SHOW
Admit it. If you have a pet, their name is probably Sammy, Cas or Deano? And if you want children, you’re thinking of naming them after characters in Supernatural. We’ve all been down that road. And we are so proud of you. Well done.
