One of our fave vloggers Zoe Sugg – aka Zoella – will be the first british female to receive YouTube’s diamond play button. Let’s celebrate!
At Vidcon 2015, YouTube announced the the play button for creators who have reached 10 millions subscribers. Hitting the 10 million mark on 30 January, Zoe is the second YouTuber from the UK to reach the milestone figure, right after Olajide ‘KSI’ Olatunji.
Zoe tweeted her excitement, writing that she was “SO emotional”, and that the occasion means “the world” to her. Aw, how lovely.
WE DID IT! THERE IS NOW 10 MILLION OF US. I'm so emotional 😭 I want you all to know this means the world to me. ❤️❤️ pic.twitter.com/QXiVp4y8h9

Excluding VEVO accounts, YouTube trends, and TV shows, she is also the third female vlogger with over 10 million subscribers worldwide along with Jenna ‘Marbles’ Mourey and Mariand Castrejon.
Will her brother follow her steps and receive the price too? Fingers crossed!
