Chart Update: ‘Uptown Funk’ leads the midweek charts AGAIN and Tulisa scores another Top 40 hit


Could ‘Uptown Funk’ be the new ‘Happy’ by Pharrell? It looks like the unstoppable track is on course to hold onto the top spot for a FOURTH week according to the midweek charts. The track has racked up has racked up a combined chart sales figure of nearly 50,000 already this week, outselling newcomer Philip George, who’s currently snapping at Ronson’s heels with debut single ‘Wish You Were Here’.

Former X Factor star Tulisa is also bothering the charts again with hot club banger ‘Living Without You’, which looks to score the N Dubz diva her fourth Top 40 solo hit.

Meanwhile the album charts are playing musical chairs this week as last week’s number one George Ezra could be de-throned by Sam Smith’s ‘In The Lonely Hour’, one of the biggest selling albums of last year.
