Meet Thomston, a 19-year-old singer from New Zealand who is being tipped as the new Justin Timberlake. Represented by the same management team as Lorde, it seems he’s going to be pretty big after already hitting five million streams on Spotify.
His new single ‘Grey’ speaks about a tight-knit circle group of friends whose individual ambitions might end up pushing them apart. Another of his tracks ‘Collarbones’ was about reaching out to a classmate with an eating disorder.
All of Thomston’s tracks are about coming of age and the traditional time at the end of college – and that’s something that us teens need in our lives.
‘Grey’ is taken from Thomston’s new EP ‘Backbone’, released on April 6.
