We can’t believe we didn’t know

It can be really difficult to find a way to feel like you’re actually helping the refugees that are suffering. It seems far away, out of reach, impossible to see a way how you can help. And though it may not seem like it, in a small way you already are.

The things you buy every day, the food you eat, the music you listen to – lots of those things were invented or made by refugees.

Bored Panda started looking into just how many things were made by refugees, made up some stickers and started popping ’em on everything they came across that were made by refugees.

Refugees have changed the way the world thinks.

Albert Einstein was a refugee fleeing from the Nazis to the US.

Refugees have revolutionised music.

Freddie Mercury was a refugee, fleeing the Zanzibar revolution to the UK.
