Things we learnt about the authors of The Shadowhunter Academy from their @MaximumPop Twitter Takeover

So we had a little bit a whopper yesterday on our Twitter page as we had three incredible authors taking over our account to have a little chat with you guys and answer your questions. Yes, we had Cassandra Clare, Sarah Rees Brennan and Robin Wasserman who are all authors of the ‘Shadowhunter Academy’ books – a series which is released monthly through ebooks.

We had a fun time with these guys..

Hi Shadowhunters, this is Cassie, Sarah & Robin, authors of Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy! Here to answer all qs! #ShadowhunterMaxPop

So here’s the best bits!

1. First things first, the authors were sunning it up, loving life by the pool. Sarah was even in her PJ’s!

We’re all in Mexico lounging by the pool (Sarah’s in her PJs b/c she’s lazy–Cassie & Robin=dressed because they love u) #ShadowhunterMaxPop — Maximum POP! (@maximumpop) February 17, 2015

2. The Shadowhunters will be released as a full published book later in the year. Eeeeek!

@foxyhockey0915 Yes, TSA will be published in one book like TBC–with a GORGEOUS cover, late this year! #ShadowhunterMaxPop — Maximum POP! (@maximumpop) February 17, 2015

3. OMG! We here at MP! love a bit of Malec. Magnus and Alec are perf. <3

@agusdatorre One of the most important Malec moments of their life happens in TSA. #ShadowhunterMaxPop — Maximum POP! (@maximumpop) February 17, 2015

4. Simon gets captured by faeries? Those pesky faeries – at least we get to see that special Blackthorn.. Mark is it? ;)

@carsdalegray Simon is captured by faeries (Simon, always captured, dammit!) and sees a certain Blackthorn. #ShadowhunterMaxPop

5. The Shadowhunter Academy series is mainly based on TMI characters but fear not.. Tessa and Jem will also make an appearance!

@hemm1ngscake Shadowhunter Academy is mostly about the Mortal Instruments characters. ;) #ShadowhunterMaxPop — Maximum POP! (@maximumpop) February 17, 2015

6. The Blackthorns are in several stories. Sarah might be the reason for this one… Oh Sarah you do please us.

@tessfairchild_ The Blackthorns are in several stories… Sarah likes writing Mark Blackthorn particularly. ;) #ShadowhunterMaxPop

7. CLACE! This is EXACTLY what we wanted to hear. We can’t get enough of Jace and Clary.

@Maddianfangirl Now Clace are together, every day is Clace! (Yes, you’ll see them together. ;)) #ShadowhunterMaxPop

8. Oh Jace, trust you. But he’s a Herondale, he’s going to be a nightmare right?

@TMIScotland Jace & Simon’s love continues, though it’s a problem Simon doesn’t remember him & Jace is punking him… #ShadowhunterMaxPop — Maximum POP! (@maximumpop) February 17, 2015

9. The reason for TSA? Maureen’s back and hassling the authors of course!

@EmilyThorne Robin: Maureen beat us all up until we agreed to write City of Simon. #ShadowhunterMaxPop
