MP! Style Guide: Use the shape of your face to determine your next haircut

Faces come in a lot more shapes than just oval. Before we go into the different haircuts, lets break down those face shapes a little more.

The most common face shape, oval is rounded with the jaw slightly narrower than the forehead.

Long faces are oval-shaped but, obviously, longer.

Square faces are the same width at the jaw as they are at the forehead.

Round faces are not as elongated as oval faces and are widest at the cheeks.

Triangular faces are wider at the forehead and narrower at the jaw.

Heart-shaped faces are widest at the cheeks with generally pointy chins and prominent foreheads.

Okay, now that we’ve established that, you should be able to identify your own face shape (it’s also enjoyable to stare at a few other people and determine theirs as well).
