Another day, another achievement for team 1D.
It has just been announced today that the boys have passed the one billion streams milestone on Spotify. Like way say, these boys just slay. Right behind Coldplay, they boys are the second British (and Irish!) band to reach this milestone.
Story of my Life is the most played song by One Direction on Spotify, with over 90m streams worldwide.
“Not surprisingly, One Direction are one of the most popular bands on Spotify, with many millions of dedicated fans listening to their music,” says Kevin Brown, Spotify’s head of Label Relations for Europe.
“We congratulate 1D on joining the very select club of artists who are true streaming superstars.”
Well, something else to go on their CV, isn’t it?
