N.E.R.D return with quirky new track ‘Squeeze Me’ from ‘The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out Of Water’

‘The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out Of You’ is coming to a theatre near you and it looks like it’s got a cracking soundtrack in tow.

Hitmaker extraordinaire Pharrell Williams has teamed up with his old pals from music collective N.E.R.D for three brand new tracks for the film, including new single ‘Squeeze Me’ which is currently on Spotify and iTunes for your listening pleasure.

For the uninitiated, N.E.R.D were basically untouchable pop maestros in the noughties, delivering hits for the likes of Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Kelis… the list goes. Plus Pharrell is no stranger to film soundtracks himself, having contributed a little known track called ‘Happy’ to the Despicable Me 2 OST in 2013…

We reckon the track could be another hit for the boys but what do you think? Let us know in the comments below!
