We get sent a lot of new music here at MP!, and that’s great: we love being seen as uber cool tastemakers. But there’s pros and cons to being so effortlessly awesome.
The downside is we get sent a lot of old rubbish. On the flipside, when something catches our ear, we feel really passionate about being one of the first people to hear it and share.
‘Modern Love’ by Coasts is definitely not rubbish.

Ok, so Zane Lowe might have beat us to the punch, since he premièred it as his Hottest Record. But he’s leaving to go work at Apple so we’ll give him this last hurrah.
‘Modern Love’ is all energy, starting off with hand claps and building synths before driving head-first into a a killer chorus.
It’s out on April 27th, let’s hope it gets huge. And when it does, remember Maximum Pop! told you about it,
(We will say, it does end a bit abruptly, but you’ve got time to add a proper Repeat-To-Fade for the proper release guys)
