WhenĀ we reported that Louis Tomlinson had been arrested in LAX airport for battery, we went through a range of emotions. We knew that Louis would not have simply assaulted someone because thatās just not the kind of person he is. So when we saw headlines sensationalising the story andĀ heard the reports from the girl he āattackedā saying that he should go to jail it made our blood BOIL!

Who the hell does she think she is? Obviously, she was a Directioner because why would she be so bothered about stalking Louis and Eleanor at the airport if she wasnāt. So it really makes it 1000 times worse when itās one of our own who has betrayedĀ Louis.
If anyone should go to jailĀ it should be her and theĀ band of screeching cronies who clearly had Louisā girlfriend backed into a corner and weāre visibly intimidating and attacking her. Louis simply rushed over to defend his girlfriend by dragging the girls off her. He didnāt throw a punch. He didnāt āsockā her. He just tried to break up the fight, as well as calling for help.

Now Louis has spoken out about the incident. A source close to Louis made the following statement to theĀ Hollywood Life:
āLouis insists he didnāt attack the photographer ā the guy just fell over in the crazy scrum that enveloped him and Eleanor.Ā Louis was just trying to protect his girlfriend since the situation was potentially really dangerous and could have gotten out of control. He would have done anything to keep Eleanor safe, and is confident he wonāt be found guilty.ā
Weāre not going to show the video of the assault here because we 100% agree with @LouisWTNews that it should not be shared out of respect. But it does show exactly what is said in the statementĀ ā that Louis was just trying to defend his girlfriend from people who attacked them.
