Even though Lorde went home empty handed last night from the AMAs, she was nominated for Artist of the Year, Favourite Artist – Alternative Rock, Favourite Female Artist – Pop/Rock, Favourite Album – Pop/Rock, she won the event for a few reasons like hanging out with (and supporting her BFF) Taylor Swift while dancing like there’s no tomorrow with Jessie J on ‘Bang Bang’ and delivering a sick performance of her new song ‘Yellow Flicker Beat’ and made T Swizzle freak out.

As the Music Supervisor behind the “Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1? soundtrack, she not only curated the project but contributed her own original song “Yellow Flicker Beat.”
Performing her song for the first on stage at the AMAs everyone went crazy when everything began in the blue darkness with her humming
