Alarm Pop: Jessica Agombar – ‘Bam Bam’. The former Parade star returns with a fab new track!

In every girl group there is always one member destined to shine beyond the confines of a band: Destiny’s Child had Beyoncé, Girls Aloud had Cheryl, Pussycat Dolls had Nicole Scherzinger… The list goes on. Now it’s Jessica Agombar’s turn. HRRRNNK. ALARM POP.

The songstress was once a member of short lived but still quite good Parade, who provided such pop gold as ‘Louder’ and ‘Light Me Up’ (which is still regularly played on the MP! stereo) but she’s since struck out on her own with her own brand of urban pop jams like this gem.

Jessica’s new single ‘Bam Bam’ is another kitchen sink pop confection with skittering beats and a sample from grime collective Roll Deep’s ‘When I’m ‘Ere’ with a sugary pop chorus cherry on top. We reckon with tunes like this, Ms. Agombar is definitely suited to the solo pop star life. Have a whirl of the new track below and let us know what you think!
