Introducing: New Motion – Indie pop band with an 80s persuasion

There is an exciting new band on the horizon and we are taking you by the hand and leading you straight to meet these handsome devils.

New Motion Anyway

This is New Motion, an indie-pop four piece from Hertfordshire that is rocking a sweet 80s-influenced sound.

The band is made up of Josh Clarke (on lead vocals and guitar), Harvey Downes (second lead vocalist and guitarist), Jack Cox (drummer) and John Heatley (who is all about the bass).

New Motion are dropping their debut four-track EP Anyway on 30 March and what your eyes have gleaned above is their EP artwork, which shows, in no indistinct way, three signs the boys are #trendy:

1) They are rocking a Polaroid photo

2) … That was taken in Camden, London

3) … Where they are casually modelling the latest casual wear collection from Topman/ASOS.

Now that you’ve seen the look is on point, check out their equally on point new song ‘Anyway’:
