Introducing: Moorhouse – The hunky new boyband from New Zealand

Well, what have we here? Five strapping lads from New Zealand who happen to sing and have a catchy pop tune in their pockets. We see nothing but a gallery of wins here.

Meet Moorhouse, a boyband that rose to fame in the 2013 X Factor New Zealand series, mentored by Melanie Blatt from 90s pop group All Saints.

The group is made up of 21-year old Jason, Brock, Rory and Rameka, and 19-year old Marley. The group was formed in Christchurch two years ago and shortly after auditioned for the X Factor New Zealand, and ended up coming fourth in the series.

Moorhouse was swiftly signed after the show and they just released their self-titled debut album, which you can listen on Spotify.

Here’s the boys’ new single ‘Somebody Loves You’. For the record – we totally don’t mind that it sounds like the kind of sweet and doting tune you’d expect from One Direction or Union J.

What do you think?
