Dear world, we saw Florrie live and she killed it

Uber babe and rising popstar, Florrie, has been a clear fave with pop bloggers for years – so isn’t it time we pulled our faces from the laptop and see her play live?

That’s precisely what we did two weeks ago when she played a gig at London’s Borderline. And, trust, she brought it. Not only did Florrie sing live, she also played the guitar and drums too.

Have we mentioned that she used to be Xenomania’s in-house drummer and played on Girls Aloud’s BRIT Award-winning hit ‘The Promise’?

Here she is performing her own pop gem ‘Give Me Your Love’:

The show was a one-woman quality pop festival with Florrie treating googly-eyed fans and chin-stroking reviewers alike to her newest material.

She opened the show with a confident burst of ‘Live A Little’ before leading us to new tunes like ‘Turn The World Upside Down’ (which was featured in ITVBe’s TOWIE promo) and her latest single ‘Too Young To Remember’.

Seriously, when that came on – the room just erupted into a carnival of dancing bodies and smiling faces.

Other new songs Florrie served include ‘Looking For Love In The Wrong Places’ and ‘Rumours’, which she performed live for the first time that night. We felt super spesh.

Florrie isn’t stingy with the goodies. She treated loyal fans to some of her best-loved tunes like ‘Summer Nights’, ‘What You Waiting For?’, ‘Little White Lies’, ‘Call 911’, and ‘Left Too Late’ (see below).

That was an awesome gig! #florrie #theborderline #london

Bravo on delivering a good show, Ms Florrie. We can’t wait to hear and see more from you.

Oh side bar, she’s super sweet too. Here she is meeting MP!’s very own “Matt Damon lookalike” Joe:

"You look like Matt Damon" "You look like Florrie"
