Fergie might just end ‘Uptown Funk”s #1 reign this week

It’s about to go down like a basement. Ronson, you better watch your back.

Fergie L.A. Love

Black Eyed Peas hot mama Fergie is challenging Mark Ronson’s ‘Uptown Funk’ for the #1 spot, according to the Official Charts‘ latest midweek update.

Fergie’s new single ‘L.A. Love’ is currently perched at #2 with less than 6,000 copies behind the Bruno Mars-assisted ‘Uptown Funk’.

‘L.A. Love’ is set to be Fergie Ferg’s first solo UK Top 40 smash since 2007’s ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’, which peaked at #2 and remains a firm tear-jerking karaoke fave.

Either way, ‘L.A. Love’ is set to be the biggest new entry this week, ahead of the freshly unleashed Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney single ‘FourFiveSeconds’.
