Ed Sheeran, following the success of his latest album “X”, which reached the number one album spot in at least six different countries, has announced the release date of his first ever book – ‘Ed Sheeran: A Visual Journey.’
The 208-page account of how Ed has become a global phenomenon, set to be released in the UK 9th October 2014, gives his “Sheerios”, or any curious readers and music-fans, an insight into the drive and inspiration behind the A-Team singer. On top of that, it contains the insider info of what and who has influenced him over the years and how he is coping, or rather thriving, in the music industry. From his small beginning of London gigs and self-released EPs, to the dizzying heights of playing the Grammys and touring with Taylor Swift, Ed’s story is all here.
As an added bonus to Ed’s personal account of his rise to fame, this book showcases illustrations from Ed’s friend from childhood, Phillip Butah. Though no further images have been officially released yet, the cover alone should get anyone excited about this book: simple yet detailed, unique and rather striking.
October couldn’t come fast enough!
