Apologetic neighbours, comeback beauty queens and sleazy panty-dropping pop stars – welcome to this week’s Download or Ditch? Which of this week’s releases are worth your hard-earned dosh.
LMFAO ‘Sorry For Party Rocking’
The Party Rockers are back and feeling guilty in this wigggle-wiggle-wiggle-free retread of ‘Sexy & I Know It’. Lots of fun but not their best. DITCH.
Marina And The Diamonds ‘Primadonna’
Wobbly welsh lass Marina And The Diamonds returns with a proper first single from her second album Electra Heart. The Dr Luke produced track features Lambrini’s trademark swooping vocals and a shouty chorus over crunchy electronic beats. DOWNLOAD.
Conor Maynard ‘Can’t Say No’
Panty-dropping pop crooner Conor leaves leaves behind his ‘made on YouTube’ origins with a debut single that’s already top 3 on the iTunes chart. It’s hypnotic, repetitive and just the right side of a restraining order. Not a bad start for one of our favourite new pop stars. DOWNLOAD.
