Chart Update: Cheryl’s on track for the Number 1 spot. Calvin Harris or Ed Sheeran for top album? You decide.

She doesn’t care but she’s on track to score her fifth UK number 1 with ‘I Don’t Care’. G’wan Cheryl.

The song is the second to be taken from Cheryl’s upcoming fourth solo album ‘Only Human’. ‘I Don’t Care’ has sold over 49,000 copies in the UK this week so far, if it continues at the same rate it will mark Ms Fernandez-Versini’s tenth Number 1, including the hits she had with Girls Aloud. -Sigh- we miss them. It will also give Chezza the record for British female with the most Number 1 singles in history, overtaking Geri Halliwell and Rita Ora.

Meanwhile Ed Sheeran’s slipped down to Number 2 in the midweek stage. Meghan Trainor’s ‘All About That Bass’ drops one place to 3 and following John Legends performance on The X Factor at the weekend ‘All Of Me’ jumps 22 places to Number 4.

Tay Tay rounds off the Top 5 singles with ‘Shake It Off’. We’re trying Taylor but it’s still stuck in our heads!

Calvin’s album includes ‘Under Control’, ‘Summer’ and ‘Blame’ His previous collection set a chart record after being the first to feature NINE Top 10 singles. That’s a hella lot of singles Mr Harris.

T-Swizz has slipped to the 3rd spot in the midweeks with ‘1989’, we’re not sure how as Team MP! have purchased 7 copies between 3 of us.

That’s all your midweek chart news, we’ll see you back here on Sunday with the low down from OfficialCharts.com
