After all, we’ve been fangirling to the max about it on MP! and (SPOILER ALERT) we STILL can’t get over how great it is.
‘Lord Of Shadows’ is the second book in Cassandra’s ‘The Dark Artifices’ trilogy. The story sees Emma get thrown through loophole after loophole, following the after math of ‘Lady Midnight’.
Not only does she have to deal with the feelings she has for her parabatai, Julian. But there’s also the little issue of The Unseelie King getting tired of the Cold Peace. How stressful!
Maximum Pop! recently caught up with Cassandra to speak about ‘Lord Of Shadows’. Here’s what she had to say…
Hi Cassandra! Could you describe ‘Lord of Shadows’ in emojis for us?
If you had to be a part of the story in either ‘TMI’, ‘TID’ or ‘TDA’, which would you choose and why?
I would choose to be in ‘The Infernal Devices’, because I would love to visit the Victorian era. I love the amazing dresses, the romantic gaslight, the handsome men in cravats, and the architecture of London. I guess I’d have to avoid all those evil automatons, though.
What gif best describes your feelings about ‘Lord of Shadows’ finally being read by your fans?
What’s the last book you read that completely blew your mind?
‘The Hate U Give’ by Angie Thomas.
Can you give us three words to tell us what’s in store for the rest of the trilogy?
Heartbreak, love, and hope.
We’re looking forward to it! Finally, can you send us a picture of where you work? We’d love to see where to magic happens!
