Since it was brought into the world (plonked on the internet) earlier this week, we have not had Carly Rae Jepsen’s ‘I Really Like You’ off of repeat.
So we got thinking, in true Maximum Pop! style, why don’t we make a list of things that Carly really (really really really really really) likes. Serious music journalism at it’s finest.
Trying to date boys that she’s only just met
“Hey, I just met you.-” You know how it goes… The first thing on our list of things that Carly really really really really really really likes is giving her number out to people that she’s just met. Don’t pretend you haven’t been tempted since ‘Call Me Maybe’ hit the top spot three years ago. HOLY SH-yes, three whole years ago.
Justin Bieber
Now, there’s no proof for this one but we’re guessing Carly Rae likes Justin Bieber just a little bit seeing as he’s the one that first spotted her. That’s right, back when JB was all sweet and innocent he heard ‘Call Me Maybe’ on the radio and went running to good old Scooter Braun who then gave her a record deal. THANK THE LORD.
Jazz Music!?
In a 2012 interview with ABC News (it’s American), CRJ spilt the tea on her love of Jazz music. “It’s not such a secret that I love jazz music,” she told. “Being on the road so much I find it so relaxing to find the best local spot and unwind.” Watch your weave Gaga, Carly’s coming for that Tony Bennet collab album.
Italian Food
Doesn’t everyone love a good Italian meal? Well Carly Rae certainly does, especially as both of her step-parents and have taught her how to cook Italian food herself. We’re looking for a new bae, if you’re interested Carlz?
