22 killed in suspected terror attack at Ariana Grande’s concert in Manchester last night

This is heartbreaking

22 people have been killed and more than 50 injured in a suspected terror attack at Ariana Grande’s concert in Manchester, last night.

The explosion happened at 10:35pm in the foyer of Manchester Arena, shortly after Ariana left the stage.

Paramedics have told the BBC that many of the casualties are wounded with “shrapnel-like injuries”.

Over 59 casualties were taken to hospital. Many people were also left walking around the arena wounded.

Prime Minister Theresa May has announced that she’s chairing a meeting with the government’s emergency Cobra committee at 9:00am this morning.

“We are working to establish the full details” of what happened in Manchester,” she said. “All our thoughts are with the victims and the families of those who have been affected.”

Ariana has also tweeted about the horrific event – alongside many other celebrities such as Taylor Swift and Harry Styles.

Greater Manchester Police have set up an emergency phone number in response to the attack.

If you’re concerned about any friends or family members who may have been involved in the explosion, please contact: 0161 856 9400.
