Adam Lambert has revealed that his voice is insured for a whopping $48million… That’s £33million. You could buy 660,000,000 carrier bags for that amount!
Adam told about the insurance on his vocals during an interview with The National, where he said: “That’s my bread and butter man, I got to insure this. J Lo insured her booty, right? Listen – this is what I’m making my money on.”
Turns out the singer’s voice was insured by his management way back in 2012. Good job nothing’s gone wrong just yet!
Adam also spoke to the magazine about the recent death of David Bowie, whose song ‘Let’s Dance’ he’s recently been performing on tour.
“He was so daring. Bowie was very much ahead of his time in terms of challenging people’s idea of: this is masculine, this is feminine, what happens when it’s blurred together?”
