With the anticipation of 5 Seconds of Summer’s debut album (self titled), the boys have been teasing little snippets of some of their favourite songs on their Instagram accounts!
Calum posted a short clip of the song ‘Never Be,’ which the band wrote with their good friend John Feldmann whilst in LA. The song seems to be fairly upbeat, with the catchy (and accurate) lyrics “We’ll never be as young as we are now” at the beginning of the clip.
Luke posted a snippet of the song ‘Long Way Home,’ which has a very catchy beat, and features creative and cute lyrics such as “So we’re taking the long way home, cause I don’t wanna be wasting my time alone.”
Ashton teased us with a clip of ‘End Up Here,’ which has more of a rock feel, with a heavy drum presence and incredibly powerful vocals that lead into the chorus.
All of the songs sound amazing so far, although, that was expected! Hopefully Michael and the band account with each post a clip in the near future so we can hear even more new songs before the album drops on July 22nd!

The guys are now in Paris to support the One Direction shows (tonight and tomorrow) at Stade de France and Ashton looks fittingly tired.
