QUIZ: Is this a 5SOS lyric or a line from this unmissable YA series?

Luke, Ashton, Calum and Michael couldn’t survive this superhero tale…

5SOS are pop-punk heroes. You only have to take a look at the snazzy costumes they’re wearing in the ‘Don’t Stop’ video to see that. Bright colours? Check. Flowing capes? Check. Ridiculous tights? Check. They’re superheroes through and through. But, despite the epic costumes, something tells us they wouldn’t survive Michael Grant’s terrifying word.

We’re not knocking the boys, of course, but Michael creates worlds that are so terrifying only the bravest of the brave will be able to survive in them. Take his incredible ‘Gone’ series, for instance. It’s the ultimate battle of good vs evil and sees teens morph into superheroes and supermonsters.

Interested? Thought so. Michael’s latest book ‘Monster’ continues the ‘Gone’ series in a gripping follow up. In the story, Shade Darby finds a piece of the original meteor and begins to mutate. It may sound cool but Shade’s not the only one who’s mutating and the authorities will not allow these super powers to go unchecked. It’s truly terrifying but a must-read for all fans of sci-fi and fantasy genres.

Do you think Luke, Ashton, Calum and Michael could survive it? We’re not too sure. But one thing we’re confident in is your ability to tell the different between 5SOS lyrics and Michael Grant ‘Monster’ quotes?

The monster was a girl who appeared to be in her teens, but was in reality mere days old. She was known the world over from her first recorded appearance during which she had torn off a man’s arm and eaten it. While the man watched in shock and agony.
