You’ve read the title of this article and are already agreeing even though you haven’t read the actual article, yes? Same. If you are a huge One Direction fan then you 100% know the struggles that we face on a daily basis.
99% of the time, One Direction will release their new music video in the middle of the night for most of us (aka History). Evidently, when we wake up, we see the notifications on our phone and die inside. It’s too early to be emotional, stop it.
2. GETTING EMOTIONAL OVER SELFIES
A new Liam selfie gets posted? Or a new group selfie? We can’t handle these emotions. Especially when the boys look more attractive in every photo (what are your secrets boys? Please respond). Can you imagine the day that Harry Styes posts an actual selfie on Instagram? Starting pre-ordering your coffins now.
3. THE RUMOURS
Probably one of the most frustrating things are all the rumours and which ones we’re supposed to believe. The amount of daily rumours (sometimes caused by the fandom when it’s too quiet) is just too overwhelming. We only care unless a reliable source or the boys themselves can confirm, then we get the pitchforks out.
4. CONCEAL, DON’T FEEL
Another funny thing us fangirls struggle with is hearing the boys’ songs on the radio or hearing someone mention them in public. Let’s be real, we have to fight the urge to scream out when History plays at the supermarket. Or if someone asks us if we like One Direction, we have to play it cool, “oh yeah, they’re alright.”
5. YOU HAVE NO MONEY
Oh man, can we relate to this? 100%! New albums, merch, concert tickets, charities – no wonder we’re broke. Seeing your boys in concert is a MUST. It’s a life-changing experience and is so worth it. Serious question though, since we’ve basically contributed to One Direction’s success, do we get to keep Louis for a month @onedirection?
