The UK has not seen a craze like it since the Scoobies Pandemic of 2005: loom bands have taken over. In fact, since September last year, Rainbow Loom has sold a whopping 1.2 million units and this year the BBC even branded it âone of the most popular toys in the worldâ.Â

So, we know the bracelets look cute, and the process is curiously addictive, but how far can you take these little coloured bands? Hereâs our top 10 of the weirdest things that have come from Loom bands.

In fact, you can make a whole jungleâs worth of animals out of these things. Itâs a little concerning how creative some people can get.

Okay, I think clothing is where we draw the line â especially when it requires 24, 000 loom bands. Bizarre â impressive, but bizarre.

American TV host, Jimmy Kimmel, sports a jacket, trouser and tie combo, composed entirely of loom bands. Around 10, 000 of the coloured loops were used in the making of thisâŠuh, unusual outfit.
