Zoella has revealed the 8 YA titles for her WHSmith book club and we’re buzzing

Today is the day that Zoella’s WHSmith book club officially launches. Between that, the main channel announcement of the titles themselves and the brand-spanking new, exclusive book covers, we have well and truly lost our chill.

We love YA just as much as we love Zoella, so this beautiful collaboration is all kinds of exciting and we just needed to give you all the deets so you can happy dance along with us.

Ahead of the book club’s launch today, Zoe uploaded a video yesterday going through her eight chosen titles and gave a brief insight into what they’re all about. Don’t worry, she avoided giving away any spoilers, because she’s thoughtful like that.

Her eight handpicked YA titles are:

  • Fangirl’ by Rainbow Rowell
  • ‘Beautiful Broken Things’ by Sara Barnard
  • ‘All the Bright Places’ by Jennifer Niven
  • ‘Everything Everything’ by Nicola Yoon
  • ‘Billy and Me’ by Giovanna Fletcher
  • ‘The Sky is Everywhere’ by Jandy Nelson
  • ‘The Potion Diaries’ by Amy Alward
  • ‘We Were Liars’ by E. Lockhart

We think you’ll agree it’s a beautiful collection and we are so looking forward to stuffing our noses into each and every one of these books.

As Zoe stated in her video, each book has its own revamped cover exclusive to WH Smith and every high street store will be stocking these versions. The store will also be putting together unique displays fortnightly of each title and Zoe will be reviewing the books in videos uploaded over on the WH Smith blog, so make sure you bookmark it. We already have!

The WH Smith blog will also feature interviews with the authors of the eight titles, as well as other exclusive, never before seen, details on the books. As always, there will also be lots of action for us to get involved with over on their Twitter, including author Twitter takeovers.

Discussion of the books will also be in abundance, so use the hashtag #ZoellaBookClub across your Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts so we can see what we all thought.

“I’ve read some amazing books for the Book Club that I can’t wait to share with you,” Zoella said when commenting on the book club launch. “I’m really happy with my top picks and I’m looking forward to seeing lots more people with their noses in books this summer!”

We’re with you there, Zoe! We cannot wait to get stuck in!

Tweet us @maximumpop if you’ll be joining Zoella’s WH Smith book club and if you’re just as buzzing as we are for the new covers!
