One Direction fans donate to British Asian charity to show support for Zayn. Awww!

One Direction fans are showing their support to former member (that’s still hard to say) Zayn Malik by donating money to the British Asian Trust.

Fansite 1D Fans Give have decided to follow up on the donation that they gave to the British Asian Trust for Zayn’s birthday back in January by asking fans that support his decision to leave the band to donate $5 (£3.36) to the charity.

“We’re so sad that Zayn has left 1D, but we understand that he needs to do what’s best for him,” the site posted in a blog entry. “We’ll keep including Zayn as part of the [charity] drive as long as you want us to – once a 1D member, always a 1D member.”

1D Fans Give hope to raise $10,000 for the British Asian Trust by the end of 2015. They have currently raised 14% of their target with $1,468.28 being raised through their Just Giving Page.
