Here’s how you can get your hands on a pair of Yeezys without spending a penny

Ever since Kanye’s Yeezy collection dropped, everyone’s been OBSESSED with the sock boot. And by everyone we mean mainly the Kardashian-Jenners.

However, at $895 a pop it’s fair to say the pair are slightly outside most people’s budget. Thankfully though, someone’s found a nifty DIY hack so everyone is getting them for basically FREE.

Shay Cherise of @thenuvogue created the viral DIY video after being inspired by YouTuber Collette Emily, who uploaded her own tutorial back in March, and it’s so easy.

All you have to do is take a pair of heels, put an ankle-length knit sock over them and cut a little hole to allow the heel to go through. Because a knit sock is pretty slippery, she then adds sticky shoe grips on the soles of both shoes and that’s it.

You’ve got your hands on a pair of Yeezy season 2/4 sock boots without spending a penny. (Ok, maybe £5 for supplies.)
