Lewis MacDougall will be joining Patrick Ness to talk about the upcoming film adaptation of ‘A Monster Calls’ (which we are desperate to finally see!).

The whole of Sunday is going to be dedicated to Harry Potter to celebrate Harry’s 36th birthday! Guys, there’s going to be a battle for the Hogwarts House Cup. Bring your House colours and represent!

The Panels

  • #SquadGoals on Saturday will tackle all things friendship with Holly Bourne, Sara Barnard, Sarra Manning and Sarah Pinborough. We are so ready for this panel!

  • Fantasy London on Friday will talk alternate versions of London with VE Schwab, Samantha Shannon and Ben Aaronovitch. FUN TIMES.
  • The first YALC Poetry Slam will be landing on Saturday afternoon and again, DYING. It’ll be led by David Levithan and Nina LaCour, celebrating their gorgeous new book ‘You Know Me Well’. Audience members and other authors will be taking part too.

Not all of the scheduling and info for YALC has been released yet and we’re already going to take a suitcase of books. This is going to be a hell of a fun weekend!
