Weekend Reads: What are the Maximum Pop! Books team reading this weekend?

Here at MP Books, we want you guys to get to know us a little better. And how best to do that? A peek at our TBRs, obviously!

So without further ado, here’s what we’re hoping to read this weekend!

Our TV/Film/YouTuber writer Alice is making her way through some of Zoella’s book club titles this weekend, and trying not get distracted by the beautifully colour coordinated covers.

Our Books Writer, Sarah, is feeling ambitious this weekend and aiming to finish 3 books. She’s mostly done with ‘Resurgence’ which is amaze (obvs) and she’s savouring every line of ‘The Raven Boys’. Excited to finally be on the Stiefvater band wagon, dudes! And as for ‘The Creeper Man’? Sarah is SO HAPPY to have an early copy. SO HAPPY!

Our lovely Jessica who looks after book comps is terribly late to the game and is making her way through the damn hilarious ‘Carry On’ this weekend. After that, she’s guessing she’ll want to binge on more Rainbow Rowell, and Jessica and ‘Fangirl’ are long overdue an outing. She’s also trying to read more poetry here and there so Savannah Brown’s short collection ‘Graffiti (and other poems)’ is on her to-read list as well. Jessica pretty much wants to read ALL THE THINGS this weekend.

Our Books Writer Sophie is finally getting to ‘Paper Butterflies’ after seeing her entire Twitter feed freak out over how good it is. Repeatedly. Then her first Ernest Hemingway is on the the list for her next #2016ClassicsChallenge pick and she ALWAYS likes to pick a quick, easy, fun read to devour in one sitting at the weekend, and that’s ‘Especially Amelia’!

Have you read any of these? Share your weekend reads with us at @maximumpopbooks!
