In the end it wasn’t the glitz, the glamour, the performances and the awards which stole the show at the Brit Awards 2017 – it was a house falling off stage.
Permit us to explain. Last night Katy Perry gave a politically charged performance of her latest hit single ‘Chained to the Rhythm’ which features a pair of dancing skeleton’s who were suspiciously dressed exactly like Prime Minister Theresa May and US President Donald Trump when they met a few weeks ago.
You might think that that would be enough in itself to attract headlines, but you’d be wrong. The skeleton marionettes’ thunder was deftly stolen by a wee little house which lost its way and took a tumble off stage.
OH BLESS! You could say that Katy brought the house down.
Of course, that wasn’t the only classic moment from the prestigious award show last night and it’d be a crime not to mention that Little Mix, our beloved queens, won their first BRIT award for Best British Single! Go ‘SOTME’!
Little Mix, who opened the show with a performance of their BRIT Award winning single, were in shock over the win but didn’t forget to thank everyone who helped them with the song, including their exes:
“Cheers to our exes! For helping us do an amazing song. This is for you lads!” (Jade Thirlwall)

And we will never get over the moment when One Direction, who have been on hiatus for a goddamn whole year now, won their seventh BRIT Award for Best British Music Video for ‘History’. Liam Payne, who returned to the UK last week as his girlfriend Cheryl is heavily pregnant, was on hand to accept the accolade, looking fit AF ofc.
“One Direction is who we are and it’s who we always will be”
The immortal words that every Directioner wanted and needed to hear. We are truly ALIVE.
