YAAAAAS!

We fangirled with Chrissy Costanza from Against the Current about Marks & Spencer over text… it was AWESOME!

We also learned to always take candy from strangers

Against the Current are the perfect blend between YouTubers and pop stars. They made their name doing covers of popular chart hits in their signature pop-punk style with their videos quickly going viral because… well, quite frankly they’re awesome. They now have over 1.65 million subscribers on YouTube and their videos have been watched over 230 million times!

Definitely check out their covers of ‘Sorry’, ‘Closer’, ‘Shake It Off’, as well as our poptastic fave…

The band are signed to the same label as twentyonepilots and Panic! At The Disco, so you pretty much know they’re awesome. They released their debut album ‘In Our Bones’ last year featuring the singles ‘Running with the Wild Things’ and ‘Wasteland’ and from that moment we were completely and utterly obsessed.

The lead singer Chrissy Costanza also has just shy of 1 million followers on Instagram and it’s not hard to see why.

Against the Current are on their ‘In Our Bones’ world tour right now with the UK leg kicking off on 8th March and finishing in London on 17th (tickets are still available here!)

We’ll be dropping in on the band when they perform in Brighton tomorrow, but we wanted to get a sneak preview of the ATC life so we had a quick text chat with Chrissy and it turns out she has proper banter. RESPECT!

Against the Current’s debut album ‘In Our Bones’ is out now to download and stream and you can get yourself some tickets to their world tour right here!)

Now head of all things content, David takes being a music fanboy to a whole new level, and can often be found dancing like there's nobody watching to 'Shout Out To My Ex', obsessing over Lauren Jauregui and defending Taylor Swift's honour.

David once appeared on TV in Armenia. Apparently, "it was awesome".
