It’s basically your childhood in 4:48 minutes

“Dislike this video and I’ll fight you” (Kez)

That pretty much sums up people’s reaction to Ed Sheeran‘s music in general, but the ‘Castle on the Hill’ video seems to be getting people particularly fired up for one particular reason.

“Let’s All Agree, Ed’s Young Version Is Hot” (TheAmazingDanisnotPanicking!AtMyChemicalDisco)

Damn we have to agree. This is a whole new level of Sheerio fangirling and let’s be honest, anyone who comes at us with a full pint of beer is bae in our eyes.

Come to mama.

But who is this hot young lookalike, you ask? Where did Ed find him? Here’s your answer:

Well, it’s off to Ed’s hometown Framlingham for us…

Here’s why Ed Sheeran’s ‘÷’ era could be bigger than Adele

But cute dopplegangers aside, Ed Sheeran has already taken 2017 by storm with his chart-conquering singles ‘Shape of You’ and ‘Castle on the Hill’ even without music videos so heaven knows what this is going to do for his chart success.

The ‘Castle on the Hill’ music video focuses in on Ed’s teen years alongside scenes of him returning home. Our hearts are exploding.

We have never known a GIF show what life is like for a British teenager growing up in the country better than this…

It’s also good to see Ed chugging back a pint of beer. He is literally all of us.

People are furious that Taylor Swift didn’t attend the Women’s March, but are they actually being unfair?

Who sang it? Can you tell the difference between Little Mix and K-Pop stars Red Velvet?
