WATCH: this fourteen year old is already better at life than you

What are we doing with our lives? This is what we found ourselves asking when 14 year old Lizzie Freestone was announced the winner of BBC Young Writers’ Award 2016.

We caught up with her on the day to chat about her winning entry, her inspirations and what’s next for this next gen author to be!

She’s pretty amazing, right? Makes us all feel incredibly underachieving!

Massive congratulations, Lizzie! We hope to read more from you in the future!
