VOTE: Who was the ultimate queen that slayed her vocals at the 2017 VMAs?

Is there a vocal queen slayage award?

The 2017 MTV Video Music Awards was in full swing last Sunday and if you’re anything like us, you’ve probably spent the past two days catching up on all your favourite’s performances on YouTube.

Miley Cyrus left our mouths hanging open with her incredible performance of ‘Younger Now’. Everyone was calling her a queen who completely slayed her vocals and we 100% agree. Just take a look at some of these YouTube comments.

Of course, Miley wasn’t the only star that shone on Sunday. Katy Perry flawlessly belted out ‘Swish, Swish’, Demi Lovato wowed with her new song ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ and P!nk performed the most amazing mash up of all her hit songs including ‘Get The Party Started’ and ‘Raise A Glass’.

She also gave the most empowering speech ever when she received the iconic ‘Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award’ and if you haven’t watched it already, you need to ASAP.

Who was your ultimate vocal queen of the evening, though?

We were blown away by everyone’s performances (even Lorde who couldn’t sing so performed a super awks but totally fearless dance instead) but who’s a little more slayage than the rest?

We decided to get to the bottom of who deserves Maximum Pop!’s officially-unofficial VMA vocal queen slayage award by creating a new poll.

Simply vote for your favourite performance below and share the link with all your friends so they can vote too.

The winner will be announced on 6th September. Let us know who you think deserves to win by leaving a comment below.
