Jaymi, who rose to fame on the X Factor with his bandmates George Shelley, JJ Hamblett and Josh Cuthbert, said a feature with the Australian rapper would be great.
‘She’s huge at the minute and she’s such an interesting artist. I think a female feature would be great!’ he told Gay Times magazine.
Union J is currently completing their second album. Here’s a little hint from their Maximum Pop Twitter takeover last month:
Jaymi added that everyone in the band has different tastes in music but he has always been particularly influenced by female artists.
The 23-year old singer said the first single he ever bought was Christina Aguilera’s 1999 hit ‘Genie In A Bottle‘.
‘I remember my nan going to Woolworths back in the day, where you used to buy your pick ‘N’ mix and singles,’ he reminisces.
‘You used to be able to get the lyrics and dance routines with CD singles … so I was always learning Steps routines. I was quite a camp kid.’
Union J released their latest single ‘Tonight (We Live Forever)‘ last month, which became their third Top 10 single.
